He studied of manufacturing systems and production engineering at the Technical University in Munich, and his special field during his studies was materials engineering and materials-handling technology. He is practicing as a German and European patent attorney doing patent, trademark and design prosecution, litigation and licensing.
He has industrial practice in the fields of materials engineering and materials-handling technology; construction and manufacturing engineering. His fields of special expertise are mechanics, mechanical engineering, materials engineering and materials-handling technology, medical instrumentation technology, gaming machines construction, telecommunications, nanotechnology, software protection, safety engineering for vehicles.
He is a member of the Institute of Patent Attorneys admitted at the European Patent Office (epi), admitted representative before the European Office for Harmonization for Trademarks, Designs and Models of the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, member of the Chamber of German Patent Attorneys, the International Association of Industrial Property Attorneys (FICPI), the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR), the Committee for Patent Law of the German Industry, the Association of Experts of Intellectual Property (VPP), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), and the Bavarian Patent Attorneys Association.
